Darkroom antics

Well This afternoon I have started the new darkroom, clearing the storeroom ready to screed the floor tomorrow, followed by wiring and plasterboarding over the weekend.
can't wait to get it sorted properly and get some wet printing done again.
On the thought of printing i've also ordered a tubless ink system for my printer from Fotospeed, they also do free profiles for their paper for you so you get really good prints, apparently it should be here tomorrow morning. I'll keep you posted.
I need to find a darkroom sink now so if you know where there is one let me know.

About Me and the Blog

I am Robert and I currently live in Mossley which is North east of Manchester on the edge of the pennines near to some wonderful countryside, I have two mad spaniels, Alfie a cocker and Lennie a Springer.

I have a love of photography, which I hope helps me create good images, hence the camera reference in the title. I am currently studying photography and the art associated with it.
I have an interest in Man altered landscapes at the moment, I am particularly interested in the work of Edward Burtynsky, his images of mines and quarries are stunning, I recently visited the slate quarries above Lynn Padarn in Llanberis and took some images of the slate.

I would be interested in anyone's views of my images as feedback on them allows me to develop my skills as a photographer.
I also have a website robertlongden.co.uk please take a look.
Thanks for looking and please leave a comment.
